Privacy

Plain-language version: we collect as little as possible, use it only to run the page you're using (unless you choose to join a group's mailing list), and never sell it.

What's collected

• When you buy squares or sign up for something: your name and a phone number or email, so the organizers can reach you (for example, if you win).
• For online orders: which squares you picked, the order amount, and when you said you paid.
• If you give an email address, we email you your link and order details. That's the only email you'll get from us unless you check the box to join the group's mailing list.
• Basic technical information needed to run the site and prevent abuse, such as a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address.

Who sees it

• On public boards, only your first name and last initial are shown.
• Your full name and contact details are visible only to the organizers running that page (for example, your school's PTA).
• It's never sold or shared for advertising.

Mailing lists

Some groups offer a box to join their mailing list (for example, the PTA's newsletter). It's never checked for you. If you check it, your name and email are passed to that group for their own mailings, under their own practices. Cork and Pin doesn't send those emails. To get off a group's list, contact that group, or email info@corkandpin.com and we'll pass it on.

Payments

Cork and Pin doesn't handle money. Payments go directly from you to the group running the page (for example, through Cash App, PayPal or Venmo), under that service's own terms. If a payment app asks for a note, the organizers may ask you to use your phone number so they can match your payment to your squares.

Cookies and tracking

No advertising or tracking cookies. Pages may save small settings in your browser, such as staying signed in on a helper's tablet.

Removing your information

Each event's information is deleted when the organizers reset it for the next season. To have your details removed sooner, email info@corkandpin.com.
